I redesigned the packaging for Masienda, transitioning it from a bag to a box format. As a frequent user of the product, I identified challenges with storage and spillage in the original packaging. My goal was to create a solution that improved usability, shelf life, and storage efficiency while maintaining the brand’s identity.

Concept
I wanted to preserve Masienda’s clean, minimalist brand identity while introducing subtle illustration to bring more character to the packaging. I incorporated a simple corn husk illustration as a nod to the product’s origins and cultural significance. This added a layer of storytelling and warmth, while still aligning with the brand’s understated aesthetic.
